Dr. Shahadat Hussain is a researcher specializing in additive manufacturing, metamaterials, and shape memory alloys. Based in Abu Dhabi, he focuses on the laser powder bed fusion (LPBF) of NiTi (Nitinol) alloys and the design & fabrication of Triply Periodic Minimal Surface (TPMS) lattices such as primitive and gyroid structures.
His research integrates advanced 3D printing technologies with microstructural characterization, mechanical testing, and data science to develop high-performance architected materials for engineering applications. Passionate about bridging innovation with real-world impact, Dr. Hussain is open to academic and industrial collaborations.
